These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the RecallsSafe mobile application and website (together, the “App”) operated by Raha Services, Inc. d/b/a RecallsSafe (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Acceptance. By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Where we present an acceptance box (at sign-up, or after we update these Terms), you must tick it before you can continue, and you may not use the App until you do. We may record the date, time, version of the Terms, and technical details of your acceptance. If we update these Terms, we may require you to accept the new version to keep using the App. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Recall Information Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: The recall information provided through RecallsSafe is aggregated from publicly available government sources. While we strive for accuracy and timeliness:
- We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of recall data. There may be delays between an official recall announcement and its appearance in our App.
- RecallsSafe is not a substitute for checking official government recall databases directly. We encourage users to verify recall information with the issuing agency.
- We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with any government body.
- Absence of a recall alert does not mean a product is safe. Not all products are covered, and some recalls may not yet be in our system.
- We are not liable for any injury, illness, damage, or loss resulting from reliance on information provided through the App, including the failure to receive a recall notification.
- YOU ARE SOLELY AND ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMING EVERY RECALL, ALERT, INVESTIGATION, OUTBREAK NOTICE, AND PRODUCT MATCH DIRECTLY WITH THE ISSUING GOVERNMENT AGENCY OR MANUFACTURER BEFORE YOU ACT, OR DECIDE NOT TO ACT, ON IT. RecallsSafe is an informational service only. It is not medical, legal, safety, or other professional advice, and it is not an official government notice or a substitute for one. You must not rely solely on RecallsSafe to protect your health, safety, property, or business.
- Information may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, duplicated, machine-matched, or mistranslated. A product may be affected by a recall that we did not detect, and an alert may be sent for a product that is not affected. Alerts can fail or be delayed, including push, email, and SMS delivery.
- Information about products “under investigation” and “potential recalls” is preliminary, may later prove wrong, and is not a finding that any product is unsafe.
6. Healthcare Provider Features
The healthcare provider portal is an informational tool only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Healthcare professionals should independently verify all drug and device recall information through official channels (such as FDA MedWatch) before making clinical decisions.
7. Potential Recalls & Early Warnings
The “Potential Recalls” feature aggregates publicly available signals (FDA warning letters, CPSC complaints, manufacturer advisories, and regulatory investigations) that may indicate a future recall. These are not confirmed recalls and should be treated as informational only. Not all potential recall signals result in official recalls.
8. Push Notifications
By enabling push notifications, you consent to receiving recall alerts and safety notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or the App's profile settings. We are not responsible for notifications that fail to deliver due to device settings, network issues, or technical limitations.
9. Subscription Plans & Payments
RecallsSafe offers free and paid subscription tiers. How a paid subscription is billed depends on the platform you subscribe from:
- iOS: subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of service and refund policy. Manage or cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Android and Web: subscriptions are billed directly through Stripe, our payment processor, not through Google Play. Manage or cancel through your account settings in the App or at recallssafe.com.
- Free Tier: Basic recall monitoring with limited product tracking.
- Paid Tiers: Enhanced features including unlimited product tracking, priority alerts, and additional agency coverage.
Subscription pricing, features, and billing cycles are displayed in the App. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Refunds — iOS: handled according to Apple's refund policy; request a refund through Apple, not RecallsSafe.
Refunds — Android and Web (Stripe-billed): charges for the current billing period are final and non-refundable. Cancelling your subscription stops all future billing immediately but does not refund the current period. There is no prorated or partial refund for early cancellation.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, content, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Raha Services, Inc. d/b/a RecallsSafe and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Recall data sourced from government agencies is public domain; our aggregation, organization, and presentation of that data is proprietary.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
11. User Content
Any product information, feedback, or other content you submit through the App remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process it for the purpose of providing the service.
The “Report Harm” complaint feature lets you submit a product-harm report (including photos and contact details) and asks us to forward it to the relevant government regulatory agency. By submitting a report, you consent to us forwarding its product, incident, and evidence details to that third-party agency. Identity verification material (such as a government ID photo) is kept on file by us only and is never forwarded. To submit a report you need a registered account with a verified email address, and you may submit one complaint per email every 24 hours. We make best efforts to forward reports but give no guarantee of delivery and bear no liability for a regulator's action or inaction, or for any injury, illness, damage, or loss arising from your report or from reliance on any information in the App. If your situation is urgent, contact the relevant authority directly — App content is for informational purposes only and is not medical, legal, or regulatory advice.
12. Recall Refund Claims
RecallsSafe helps you document and track a recall refund claim. The feature is for convenience and record-keeping only:
- The manufacturer's refund is paid directly to you, never to RecallsSafe. We do not receive, hold, or redirect the refund. Filing the claim with the manufacturer is your action; we provide the documentation and status tracking.
- RecallsSafe charges a 33% service fee of the refund amount you report. The fee is charged to your on-file payment method only after you confirm receipt of the refund in the app and give explicit consent to charge. You will see the calculated fee before any card is charged, and the charge is never automatic.
- Service fee refunds: the 33% service fee is refundable if it was charged in error, or if you can show the underlying manufacturer refund it was calculated from was later reversed or clawed back. Contact support to request one. Outside those two cases, the fee is final once charged.
- This is a paid-tier feature (Plus, Pro/Business, Manufacturer, Government, Enterprise) with a $15 minimum original purchase price. Free-tier accounts and purchases below $15 are not eligible; the app will tell you the specific reason if a check fails.
- RecallsSafe does not guarantee that any manufacturer will issue a refund and is not liable for a manufacturer's refusal, delay, or the amount it offers. You should also pursue the manufacturer or relevant agency directly if needed, especially for urgent or high-value matters.
13. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services (including Firebase for authentication and notifications, and Stripe for payments). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.
14. Disclaimers, Assumption of Risk, Release & Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, RELIABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY RELEASED PARTY (DEFINED BELOW) BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
- THE RELEASED PARTIES' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM AND (II) US$100. THESE LIMITS APPLY EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE. YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THAT USING RECALL INFORMATION CARRIES RISK AND THAT NO ALERT SERVICE CAN DETECT OR DELIVER EVERY RECALL. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU, ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD, FAMILY MEMBERS, HEIRS, ESTATE, AND ASSIGNS, KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE RAHA SERVICES, INC., ITS ASSUMED OR TRADE NAMES (INCLUDING RECALLSSAFE), AND ITS AND THEIR PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE OWNERS, SHAREHOLDERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, DATA SOURCES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY KIND, KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, RELIANCE ON, OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR ANY INFORMATION OR ALERT (OR THE ABSENCE OF ONE), INCLUDING ILLNESS, INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, ECONOMIC LOSS, AND DISTRESS, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. This release does not apply to the extent a claim cannot be released under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties (defined in Section 14), including Raha Services, Inc. d/b/a RecallsSafe, from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your reliance on or sharing of any information obtained through it, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Modifications to Terms, the Service, Plans, Prices & Coverage
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
We may also modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, for free and paid users alike. This includes prices, plan features and tiers, item limits, included recalls and data sources, the countries and agencies covered, notification channels, and any free trial, promotion, or discount. We may make any plan or feature unavailable in any location. For an active paid subscription, a price increase takes effect from the start of your next billing period after we give you notice by email or in the App, and you may cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the App after that is your acceptance. Other changes take effect when posted or when we notify you. We have no liability to you or anyone else for any change, suspension, or discontinuation. Promotional codes and discounts have no cash value, may be withdrawn at any time, and are subject to their stated terms.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, and 20 survive termination.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Houston, Texas. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Raha Services, Inc. d/b/a RecallsSafe regarding the App.
